After days of research, reading, asking our resourceful sources, more reading again, and most importantly asking personal experience from clients, we’ve finally come up with comprehensive details and understandings about the new SE Satgas Covid No.13/2022, marked 7 days after announcement.

ABOUT VOA
- Visa on Arrival (VoA) has been reinstated for selected 23 countries. The fee is IDR 500,000 or equivalent to AUD 49 and payable at the Airport counter.
- VoA is valid for 30 days stay and possibility to extend one time only for another 30 days with additional fee and payable at the Local Immigration Office. VoA extension can be done independently or through relating consultant service. VoA cannot be transferred into another onshore visa, so you must leave Indonesia after 30 or 60 days of VoA period.
- Willing to do multiple PCR Test as following:
- Departure PCR Test (mandatory) in your home country
- Airport PCR Test (mandatory) in Bali Airport
- Hotel PCR Test (encouraged) in your chosen CHSE accommodation.
ABOUT PRE-FLIGHT DOCUMENTS FOR VOA
- So, you are eligible for obtaining a VoA. First, you need flight and return ticket.
- Proof of double vaccinated (2 doses).
- Negative PCR result before departure (no longer than 2x24hr).
- Proof of health insurance with Covid-19 coverage.
- Proof of paid booking accommodation for minimum 4 days. Accepted booking accommodation is hotels that are only listed in this portal link (http://portal.ngurahrai-airport.co.id/hotel_list.php) OR any hotels with CHSE certification.
- Download PeduliLindungi App on mobile and fill out the eHac form.
ABOUT ARRIVAL AT BALI AIRPORT
- Prepare all the documents.
- Obtain an Airport PCR Test. The fee is IDR 275,000 or equivalent to AUD 26 and payable at the counter. The result will be most likely to come in when you’ve arrived at your accommodation because it usually takes few hours.
- Next step is usual immigration and customs procedure (document check & VoA counter).
- Baggage claim.
- Go directly to your accommodation. Transport arrangement is either from your hotel or self-managed.
- Check-in at the hotel and showing QR barcode that has been advised at the Airport.
- If your Airport PCR Test came negative (-), you are free as bird. You are welcomed to explore wherever part of Bali you want in the first 4 days of your arrival in Indonesia (remember that you’ve already had your 4 days booking accommodation, right?) >> in italic. In other words, NO MORE QUARANTINE applied in this situation.
- From personal experience, Hotel PCR on day 3 is encouraged to be done but NOT MANDATORY. Please be mindful, this is only for those who got a negative (-) result on Airport PCR and will be staying in Bali only. If you have another trip to other cities (outside Bali Island) on the fifth day or more, you will need Hotel PCR on day 3 because you’ve been detected as overseas travellers (can be seen on your date of arrival).
- If your Airport PCR Test came positive (+), you must undergo a quarantine in your booked accommodation. Yes, during quarantine you are not allowed to go outside your room unless you booked a bubble hotel.
